After three months, plots at Kępa Mieszczańska are for sale again. It is yet one more attempt at selling them. Unfortunately during the last tender taking place in December 2013, they were not sold.
”There were no interested buyers for those plots at that time,” Maciej Macios, from the Military Property Agency - owner of the territory, says. “The tendering security was paid in for only one of them, but finally the potential buyer did not participate in the tender.”
The forthcoming tenders for the sale of the real property situated on the Wroclaw island are going to take place on 18 and 21 of March. This time opening prices for some plots remained unchanged, but some of them were reduced by 10% and 20%. In March, the opening price of the cheapest plot will amount to PLN 5.36 million and the most expensive will be at least PLN 13.5 million. The total value of the real estate for the tender in March amounts to PLN 76.15 million. In December it was PLN 81.5 million.
During March tender new owners will choose from 11 out of 24 plots the Military Property Agency owns at Kępa Mieszczańska. The territory is situated in the vicinity of Mieszczańska and Dmowskiego Streets. The total surface of the real estate for sale amounts to over 6 ha. On one plot there is a historic building of former stable of the Second Field Artillery Regiment. The new owner will benefit form 50% reduction due to entering it into the register of monuments.
All plots for sale are subject to land development plan. Potential buyers will be able to adapt the real estate e.g. for multi-family houses, restaurants, hotels, office buildings, congress and conference centres, marinas, green areas and promenade boulevards.
”The remaining plots at Kępa Mieszczańska, belonging to the Military Property Agency, are presently subject to division procedure connected to the adaptation of plots’ borders to functions in the local land development plan.” Maciej Macios says. “Taking into consideration the duration of the division, and the period of time required for the publication of the register and announcement, the territory will probably be for sale at the end of 2014."
Kępa Mieszczańska is an island located in the most attractive central part of Wroclaw. The real estate for sale covers its northern part located at the fork of Northern Oder and Southern Oder canals. Moreover, the territory is located close to the Market and the University of Wroclaw.
The Military Property Agency will dedicate profits from the sale of the real estate at Kępa Mieszczańska to technical modernisation of the Polish Army.
