British singer James Blunt will be the leading star of the first edition of the WROMANTIC festival to take place on 22 June at the Wroclaw Stadium. The organizer of the event is FM FRO and its partner is Wroclaw - European Capital of Culture 2016.
An army officer in Kosovo
Blunt is a former officer of the British army. He served in Kosovo in 1999 in the Life Guards units. His wartime memories can be found in his songs. His debut album was "Back to Bedlam", and the "You’re Beautiful" single reached number 1 on charts worldwide. Blunt's music is a combination of rock, folk, and soul music. He has performed in Poland twice: in Warsaw in 2009 and at the Life Festival Oswiecim in 2011.
James Blunt's concert in Wroclaw will be a part of his world tour promoting his most recent album entitled "Moon Landing". So far, the artist has released 4 albums, which sold in about 17 million copies. James Blunt has been nominated five times for the Grammy Awards and has won two BRIT Awards and four MTV statuettes.

The WROMANTIC festival will take place on Sunday, 22 June, at the Wroclaw Stadium. Besides James Blunt, two more world-class artists and Polish music stars will give their performances at the festival. Information on further artists will be announced in the coming days.
Tickets for the festival will be available in pre-sales at prices starting from 75 zlotys as early as in the third week of March at the eventim.pl website.
