On Thursday, February 27, traditional Lviv-Wroclaw doughnuts prepared according to the pre-war recipe have been sold in Nadodrze.
The seniors associated with Rada Seniorów Nadorza (Nadodrze Board of Seniors) prepared an event for Fat Thursday, "Specjały Nadodrza" ("Nadodrze Specialties"), for the second time.
The idea behind the campaign is an intergenerational attempt at restoring the flavours of old Wroclaw. Therefore, in cooperation with a well-known historian, Grzegorz Soble, a recipe for a doughnut which dominated on the tables of pre-war Wroclaw and Lviv gourmets on Fat Thursdays has been prepared.
Doughnuts stuffed with a plum-cinnamon filling had their premiere last year. Then the limited edition of the specialty was prepared by the female seniors and the doughnuts were sold out in cafes within 15 minutes. In connection with such a great interest, this year Mr. and Mrs. Krajewscy bakery was invited to baking doughnuts.

Earnings from the campaign will be used for the development of the social cafe of Rada Seniorów Nadorza (Nadodrze Board of Seniors).
